As Broadway heads into the busy spring theater season, a wave of new productions and high-profile revivals is arriving across Midtown. This year’s lineup leans heavily on recognizable titles — including revivals of classics and stage adaptations of familiar screen properties — as well as star casting.
Every Brilliant Thing
Fresh off his Tony Award–winning performance in “Merrily We Roll Along,” Daniel Radcliffe headlines the Broadway premiere of Duncan Macmillan and Jonny Donahoe’s solo play about finding light in life’s darkest moments. In previews at the Hudson Theatre, everybrilliantthingbway.com.
Giant

Death of a Salesman

Beaches
This new musical based on Iris Rainer Dart’s bestselling novel and the 1988 film adaptation, starring Jessica Vosk and Kelli Barrett as lifelong friends Cee Cee and Bertie, will open this spring for a limited engagement before launching a national tour. Becky Shaw

Dog Day Afternoon
Fans of the acclaimed TV series “The Bear” can see both Jon Bernthal and Ebon Moss-Bachrach star in Stephen Adly Guirgis’ (“Between Riverside and Crazy”) new stage adaptation of the real-life events dramatized in the 1975 Al Pacino film about a bank holdup gone horribly wrong. Fallen Angels

Joe Turner’s Come and Gone

Proof

Schmigadoon!

The Balusters

The Fear of 13
Two-time Academy Award winner Adrien Brody makes his Broadway debut opposite Tessa Thompson in a true crime drama about Nick Yarris, who spent more than two decades on death row for a murder he insisted he did not commit. The Lost Boys

The Rocky Horror Show

Titanique
Following a hit Off-Broadway run, the Céline Dion-powered send-up of the 1997 blockbuster film “Titanic” will play Broadway with a cast that includes co-creators Marla Mindelle and Constantine Rousouli plus Jim Parsons, Melissa Barrera and Deborah Cox.
