North Carolina Fourth of July Festival announces 9/11 mobile exhibit | Business

The exhibit is a tribute to all those who lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001, including the 343 members of the Fire Department of New York City. The exhibit is described as a high-tech, 83-foot tractor trailer offering 1,100 square feet of space to educate people across the country about the events of that tragic day.

The public is invited to welcome the 9/11 Never Forget Mobile Exhibit to the local area. On June 28, the exhibit will be entering Highway 87 from U.S. 17 and is expected to arrive in Southport via Highway 87 at approximately 3 p.m. Welcoming the exhibit is not just a patriotic act, but a testament to the country’s shared responsibility to remember and honor those who have and continue to put their lives in danger for the general good of U.S. citizens.

The exhibit will be on Nash Street from June 29 to July 4. All viewing times begin and 10 a.m. The June 30, July 2 and July 3 viewing times conclude at 4 p.m. The June 29 viewing time ends at 6 p.m. The July 4 viewing time finishes at 2 p.m.

The exhibit is open to all.
