TCB Fights hosted the Decked Out boxing event in connection with the iconic Elvis Fest Saturday.
TUPELO, Miss. – TCB Fights hosted the Decked Out boxing event in connection with the iconic Elvis Fest Saturday. Over a dozen fighters battled it out in the ring. The sport is seeing an increase in participation in the Magnolia state.
Part of the proceeds from the event went towards the Mississippi Wrestling Foundation. It is a non profit that’s dedicated to growing the sport for Mississippi’s youth.
Boxing promoter Grady Hurley said when the foundation first started only two schools had wrestling as a sport. There are now over thirty schools involved. He said when that total hits fifty MHSAA will take it over as an official state school sport.
