Don’t just sit at home! There are plenty of great things to do around New York City this weekend.

Here’s a look at some of the best events happening around town between March 13-15!

Friday, March 13: Pots of gold fun for kids!

Williamsbridge Street Tree Care with Super Stewards: Work with NYC Parks Stewardship and your friendly neighborhood Super Steward to care for local street trees! Volunteers will learn how to aerate, cultivate, mulch, and identify street trees. 814 Tilden St., Bronx. 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Free.

Pot of Gold Kids Night: Drop the kids off for an evening of fun with painting, pizza, games, juice, crafts, and activities. Mud Genius, 212-91 26th Ave., Queens. 5 – 8:30 p.m. $40.

Saturday, March 14: Make your own t-shirt!

Screenprint Your Own T-Shirt!: Families will learn the basics of screen printing—from sketching and cutting a paper stencil to pulling colorful ink across a screen with a squeegee. Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, 2 East 91st St., Manhattan. 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Free with $10-$20 museum admission; free for youth younger than 18.

Malev & Friends Comedy Show: Sharp stand up from rising stars & celebrity drop ins with cozy couches, cocktails, & modern art. Comedians from Netflix, HBO, SNL, & NYCF. Brooklyn Art Haus, 24 Marcy Ave., Brooklyn. 9 – 11 p.m. Free.

Sunday, March 15: SeltzerFest!

Sunday Morning Family Jams with Musiquita: Musiquita is a playful exploration of music in Spanish and English, guided by a wife/husband duo who perform a wide variety of music appropriate for all ages. Learning Lab, 97-16 Metropolitan Ave., Queens. 10 – 10:45 a.m. $15 per person.

Brooklyn SeltzerFest 2026: Brooklyn SeltzerFest returns to Industry City for a full-day celebration of New York’s most iconic bubbly. Two ticketed sessions available. Industry City, 220 36th St., Brooklyn. 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. $10-$20.
