Last week, Google announced that it is bringing back The Android Show: I/O Edition for a second consecutive year. The event will take place ahead of Google I/O 2026, which is scheduled for May 19 and 20.
Unlike last year, this year’s show will not be an in-person event. Instead, it will be streamed online, and you can watch it using the embedded video player below. The Android Show I/O Edition 2026 begins at 10:00 AM PT (1:00 PM ET / 5:00 PM GMT) on May 12.
Google is expected to share several Android 17 announcements during the show, including new features and updates. Gemini AI is also likely to be a major focus among other things.
Notably, the company has teased that 2026 will be one of the biggest years yet for Android, so it will be interesting to see what Google has planned.
