Authorities have arrested a registered sex offender in the fatal shooting of Texas rapper G$ Lil Ronnie and his 5-year-old daughter near Fort Worth, while a second suspect remains at large.
Forest Hill Police Chief David Hernandez told TMZ late Thursday that the intelligence division arrested 24-year-old Adonis Robinson in Livingston, about 75 miles northeast of Houston.
It remains unclear how authorities found Robinson, who in 2019 assaulted a woman on a walking trail in Forth Worth. A second suspect, 21-year-old Jakobe Russell, remains at large.

In a press release Monday, police said the two suspects exited their white Kia that morning at Slappy’s Car Wash in the Fort Worth suburb of Forest Hill. There, they opened fire on the 30-year-old rapper and his daughter R’mani, a day after the little girl’s fifth birthday. They then fled the scene.
Though officers attempted life-saving measures, Ronnie and his daughter were both were declared dead at the scene around 11 a.m. A motive for the slaying remains unclear.
“He didn’t bother nobody; he didn’t target nobody,” said Ronnie’s aunt Stella Houston. “Why would they target him? And a baby, his baby.”
Authorities identified Robinson and Russell, both Fort Worth residents, as suspects Wednesday and confirmed that capital murder warrants had been issued for both. Police said they were to be considered armed and dangerous.
“They’re scared. They’re cowards. They’re hiding. We ask the public, please, you know where they’re at? Let us know,” Hernandez said at the time. “I want to reaffirm to the community that we will hold criminals accountable. We’re not going to allow them to come in here and think they can get away with it.”
