A man was stabbed and wounded by a barefoot pantless attacker in an apartment building near Times Square Monday morning police said.
The 43-year-old victim got into an argument with his attacker, a man he knows, inside the Sherrie Arts apartment building on W. 43rd St. near Ninth Ave. about 9 a.m., cops said.
As the quarrel escalated the victim was stabbed in the left arm by the assailant, who ran off wearing a gray sweater but no pants or shoes, cops said.
“This is a normal building,” a building worker said. “Normal people live here, very nice people. But sometimes, you know, these things happen.”
